Every restaurant confirms its halal status as part of Taib's approval process before it can list any meals — halal isn't an add-on, it's the starting point.
How much can I save on a Mystery Meal?
Mystery Meals are sold at a reduced price compared to their usual value. The exact saving depends on the restaurant and the meal, but it's always a meaningful discount off what you'd otherwise pay.
How does collecting my order work?
After you buy a Mystery Meal in the app, you're given a pickup window and a collection code. Head to the restaurant within that window, show your code, and collect your meal.
Where is Taib available?
Taib is launching first in Aylesbury, with more towns and cities to follow as we grow.
How do restaurants list surplus meals on Taib?
Restaurants apply through the app. Once approved, they can list unsold meals as Mystery Meals, setting their own price, quantity and pickup window — and can pause or update listings any time.
What happens to the food that would otherwise be wasted?
Every surplus meal rescued through Taib is one that doesn't end up in the bin. We also partner with a local charity so that the impact of every meal saved reaches further into the community.
