Taib ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at taibapp.com. We are a halal surplus food marketplace launching in Aylesbury, England. For privacy enquiries, contact us at taibapp123@gmail.com.

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We do not collect your name, phone number, payment details or any other personal information through this website.

We collect your email address solely to notify you when the Taib app launches and to send you related updates. The legal basis for processing under the UK GDPR is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the waitlist form.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by emailing us at taibapp123@gmail.com.

We use Mailchimp (operated by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA) to store email addresses and send marketing communications.

When you submit your email address, it is transferred to and stored on Mailchimp's servers. Mailchimp is certified under the EU–US and UK–US Data Privacy Framework. You can read Mailchimp's privacy policy at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

We have a Data Processing Agreement in place with Mailchimp as required by UK GDPR.

We will retain your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If the Taib app does not launch, we will delete all waitlist data no later than 31 December 2027.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any third party except Mailchimp (as described above) and, where required, with regulators or law enforcement authorities.

This website does not use cookies or any client-side tracking scripts. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar analytics service.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to our processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing
